Unlimited Rules
Rota Master has a Rules Manager that allows you to set up any number of rules for individuals including spacing between different types of shift and partnering rules. These rules ensure that the allocation system knows what not to do and how to handle exceptions. Within Rota Master, via the user friendly ‘shift manager’ functionality, you can define unlimited shift patterns and in terms of financial support the system offers pay per shift or you can create any number of pay matrices based upon role, team, day and zone. Rota Master also supports pay for leave and other adjustments.
Multiple Organisation Capability
Rota Master is ideal for managing large county-wide or distributed organisations that are an aggregation of several smaller units. You can run multiple organisations (all using different processes) from a single installation.
Integration With Other Systems
Rota Master holds a comprehensive personnel database which can be populated by imports from an external file or other systems. E.g. Rota Master will download a completed rota to Adastra – this alone can save many hours of manual data entry and is error free. You can export financial information from Rota Master to other financial systems e.g. Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll etc.
Security & Audit
Database level and user level security allows you to protect your rota system from unwelcome interference. You can create any number of named users. The users’ activities are logged in the audit trail, so you always know who has done what and when.

Workforce Web Portal
Rota Master offers a secure, password protected web interface that can be accessed by your personnel whenever they need to, wherever they are, with of course the relevant access rights. It allows them to view and interact with their rota at their own convenience. This reduces the administrative overhead further in managing the rota and projects a modern and professional image. The Rota Master Web Portal can be provided as an add-on to your existing website or it can be free standing.
