Extended Functionality For Rota Master Users This new module provides Rota Master users with a significantly increased depth of data storage functionality for personnel records management. It also provides considerably more in terms of powerful reporting across all records.
Document Storage The new Rota Master HR module provides a secure repository for storing all your organisational documents – forms, policies, contract templates and the like, catering for a wide variety of file types, such as PDF, .doc, docx, xls, jpg, etc. However, this new module is also compatible with third party document libraries which offer a selection of professionally drafted documents available for download on a subscription basis.
Financial Information Pulling data from your existing Rota Master database, the new HR module can display a number of secure views to managers with the appropriate user rights to see financial history such as pay history, salary increases and pension contributions.
UK Work Eligibility Of course UK employers have a responsibility to make sure their employees are eligible to work in the UK. The new Rota Master HR Module provides a place for recording eligibility status against an individual’s employee record. It recognises whether the eligibility documents stored are from List A (ongoing eligibility) or List B (eligibility for a limited period).
Leave Management This module allows you to record and manage all leave types – i.e. annual leave entitlement, sickness, maternity/paternity with functionality driven by your own policy rules regarding entitlement, including a countdown of what’s remaining. It handles leave requests and will recognise leave in hours and/or days.
Disciplinary & Grievance Management This module provides a place for you to log all of your disciplinary and grievance events from 1st verbal warning, right through to dismissal and everything that takes place in between e.g. conversations, meetings and correspondence. All standard policy documents, recording screens and standard template letters are stored in one place for easy retrieval.

Working Time Directive There is an area of the new HR module dedicated to recording working time directive information – such as rest period entitlement per employee, providing your organisation with a means to keeping track of what’s required and a record of what is actually happening.
Standard Letter & Email Creation From your own unique set of template letters and emails you can create personalised letters to individual members of staff or groups of staff en masse, and record them as correspondence date/time stamped in the system.
Personal Information Logging This module provides areas for logging and recording a range of different personal information types – from skills, qualifications and professional registrations to CRB checks and personal medical information.
Training All training courses attended can be logged within the Rota Master HR module and employees can score or rate the courses they have attended.
Event Log This is an area of the system that caters for logging any event that takes place, from an accident at work to an employee attending a conference etc. Different organisations need to log a wide range of events and so all events are user-definable.
User Defined Fields Throughout the system there is scope to add user-defined fields giving great freedom to expand the system to accommodate records for any type of data.
Reporting Through Rota Master’s robust and powerful Report Generator every piece of data held within the system can be reported upon and analysed.
The Future The IQUS development roadmap for the HR module includes Recruitment functionality as well as an area for Appraisals and Performance Management.
