Brand New Rota Master Time & Attendance Module Launched Today
IQUS Limited, authors of Rota Master, the UK’s market leading rostering software for unscheduled care providers, announced today development plans for a comprehensive new range of ‘value-add’ modules for Rota Master users. The Time & Attendance Module is officially launched today and is the first of several new modules in the company’s 2012 development roadmap for an integrated Workforce Management Suite.
The Rota Master Time & Attendance Module provides biometric proof of presence and attendance monitoring. It automatically captures workforce time and attendance data using the very latest fingerprint recognition technology. The data is processed directly to the Rota Master database in line with pre-configured time and attendance policy rules.
The IQUS development team is working closely with its user base to fine tune the new Rota Master modules. Barndoc Healthcare Limited is the first to go live with the Time & Attendance Module. Four months in, Alan Levett, Finance Director at Barndoc said, “This new software modules for Rota Master has given us 100% payroll accuracy and it is on track to generate an annual wage bill saving for us of £17,000 by eliminating payments for unauthorised absences and lateness.”
Chris Jones, practising GP and Managing Director of IQUS said, “Talking to users on a daily basis we discovered that many organisations are either living with cumbersome, manual time and attendance processes or using separate software packages creating excessive duplication of effort. There is clear demand for a quality Time & Attendance module that integrates fully with Rota Master and we are pleased to be able to fulfil this need.”
Set up for this automated Rota Master T&A solution is quick and simple. Fingerprints are captured and linked to a unique identification number which is stored in your Rota Master database. As members of staff arrive and leave work they simply clock in and out by touching the fingerprint pad on a wall-mounted device.
Barndoc’s Alan Levett continued, “The solution completely eliminates the need for human intervention or manual processes. It is also totally abuse proof. People cannot leave their thumb at home or with a colleague. The rules have been set within the system and we have had wide acceptance by staff. They can see it is completely fair and accurate.”
Chris Jones, MD for IQUS summed up, “It has been a privilege to work with Barndoc and a number of other Rota Master customers to fine tune this key module. It has given us a very clear understanding of what users need from time and attendance software and we are very proud to launch this key module to our user base".
“Next on the agenda you can expect the Rota Master HR Module – for the efficient management of personnel records fully integrated with Rota Master. We are working closely with several customers on this and it is on schedule for a launch date which will be before the end of February 2012. After HR you will see new modules for appraisals, recruitment and capacity planning.”
Rota Master and all its value-add modules are available either as a hosted service on the IQUS Cloud or as a traditional inhouse managed solution for installation onto your own IT infrastructure.
